SHIP YOUR COMPUTER US!
Shipping a computer to us for service is no big thing! Hundreds have sent their machines to us via UPS for years. We've never had one arrive damaged, if the owner has followed these simple rules:

If you are shipping one of our machines back for service, of course you've kept the original shipping box, so there will be no problem, right? Right! OK, I know, your brother-in-law borrowed that beautiful shipping box to store fresh caught fish in, and left it loaded with not so resh fish in the back of his peek-up-truck, and it was confiscated by the fish & game department. [big-grin]
Preparing your computer:
• Make a list of the problems with your computer. (Remember to include your name, address, & phone number.) If you have no access to a working computer with a printer, please print legibly! If we can't read your information, we might ship your computer back to the wrong address.
• Include any passwords needed to start your computer or login. Passwords, if needed, to come out of the screen saver or sleep mode, any other passwords that might prohibit us from accessing your computer.
Remember, passwords are cAse seNsiTive.
• Remove any floppy disks or CD-ROMS from the drives.
• Disconnect all cables from the machine, and retain them. SHIP NO CABLES
• Ship only the computer. No monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, etc.
• Include the following CDs:
Operating System (Windows 98, ME, XP, Etc.) with Key Number.
Driver CDs for Video, Sound, Modem, Etc.
Any program CDs you wish us to re-install. (Include passwords, or Keys if required)
• Take your computer, and the list you made, to a shipping place like Mailboxes Etc, or the like, and have them wrap the computer in 2 to 3 inches of bubble wrap, and place it in a snug fitting box.
(Please, NO Styrofoam Peanuts)
Remember to include your list with name, address & phone, in the box.

• Insure the shipment for at least the replacement value.

The following is a copy of our policy statement that is given to everyone who leaves their computer in our care:
Data security comes first
Most computers have irreplaceable data stored on their hard disk drives. We do everything in our power to insure the integrity of your data.
Data or program loss can happen due to equipment failure or other reasons out of our control. We always recommend you keep backups of all your valuable data.
Confidentiality is a Promise
Your personal and business files are safe with us. We never read, copy or divulged any of our client’s information. With clients like banks, law enforcement, government agencies, doctors, psychiatrists, lawyers and just plain folks, we NEVER pry into their affairs.
And that’s a Promise!
We keep you informed
If during our repair analysis, we discover problems that were not apparent at first look, we will contact you before repairs are initiated.
Occasionally, during shop analysis, we uncover problems that require more extensive work and/or parts than originally thought.
We will always keep you informed!
Nothing but the best
We use only the highest quality repair parts for all of our service work.
Our repair components are generally of a higher quality then the original parts used when your
computer was originally constructed.
You can rest assured
Your computer will be serviced by the most competent and proficient professionals in the industry.
The Full Treatment
Your computer gets the full treatment when it visits our shop.
The following is a list of the services performed at no additional charge to every computer that
comes through our shop:
Some tests or adjustments may be omitted if we feel that your computer’s data integrity could
be compromised.
• Memory test.
• CPU test.
• Virus check.
• Hard drive scan and verification.
• Hard drive defragmatation.
• Floppy drive cleaning and test.
• CD-ROM/DVD drive cleaning and test.
• Cooling system check.
• Internal cables and connectors checked.
• Internal system cleaning.
• Electrical safety check.
• Lead-dress check and repair.
• Modem test.
• Sound system check.
We will inform you if any of the above checks or adjustments uncover any safety or reliability
issues.
Once you become our client, you can always call us for help on any computer related problem or
question.
